IBMA Momentum Awards are given annually by the International Bluegrass Music Association to artists and industry professionals who are in the early years of their careers in bluegrass music. Bands, instrumentalists, vocalists, and industry professionals who are new to bluegrass and have been active during the eligibility period are invited to apply. An award is also presented to a mentor for their positive influence on new artists and industry professionals. Nominees do not have to be IBMA members.

Any person may suggest an artist or industry leader for consideration by completing the nomination form below during the submission period. Self nominations are encouraged and welcomed.

The 2025 nomination period has closed. Nomination forms will reopen in spring 2026.
