This is a new FREE initiative for international artists and groups, as well as those with international ties, at IBMA World of Bluegrass®. It will be staged in the WOB Exhibit Hall.
Artists with international connections includes:
Foreign artists with a P or an O visa may perform Wednesday-Saturday. Foreign artists without a visa may perform only during the Conference attendee portion (Wednesday-Thursday).
2023 APPLICATIONS NOW CLOSED
This program is open to all non-U.S. bluegrass acts who wish to participate in IBMA World of Bluegrass® (September 26-30, 2023 in Raleigh, NC). Led by the generous matching donation of Paul and Alys Schiminger, the IBMA International Band Performance Grant Program will provide financial assistance to bands traveling to IBMA World of Bluegrass® and help to establish a 2024 follow-up tour in the United States.
