Bluegrass Ridge Television and the International Bluegrass Music Association Join Forces

[NASHVILLE, TN] – The International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) announces an exciting media partnership with Bluegrass Ridge Television, aimed at the continued expansion, reach and impact of Bluegrass music year-round and during the 2024 IBMA World of Bluegrass® week.

In 2023, Bluegrass Ridge Television and Roswell Audio partnered to sponsor the digital agenda boards in the Raleigh Convention Center and in the host hotel, Marriott Raleigh City Center. This partnership not only contributed to making IBMA World of Bluegrass® more environmentally friendly during the conference and festival week; but it also served to highlight daily information about activities and events while including the latest bluegrass music videos, interviews, and special messages from favorite bluegrass personalities.

Building on the success of 2023, the continued partnership between IBMA and Bluegrass Ridge Television will expand in 2024 to amplify the visibility of bluegrass artists, festivals, and events while helping share the benefits of IBMA membership and participation in IBMA events and activities.

Bluegrass Ridge Television will work with IBMA to feature special weekly spotlight segments. During IBMA World of Bluegrass® week, more digital screens will be added in the Raleigh Convention Center to feature even more artist highlights and music segments as well as offer the opportunity for affordable paid ad space for partners, exhibitors, musicians, and sponsors.

“We are thrilled to partner with the International Bluegrass Music Association to continue to bring Bluegrass music to a wider audience,” said Jeff Mosely, CEO and Executive Producer at Bluegrass Ridge Television. “This collaboration marks a significant step in continuing to foster the growth and appreciation of Bluegrass on a global scale. We wanted to bring this together in a “non-exclusive” way, so that through the TV show, we can also feature other broadcasters in the genre as well as artists and events.  Bluegrass is a family, and we all rise together.”

Bluegrass Ridge Television is a weekly TV series, hosted by Nu-Blu, and broadcasts via 14 networks and 100 plus local affiliates each week, reaching 120 million households and airing 400 times each month. This reach plus streaming outlets and airings in 5 countries makes Bluegrass Ridge TV the largest television outlet for bluegrass music in the world. With this media partnership, the addition of IBMA’s wealth of expertise and resources will further contribute to the development and recognition of this cherished musical tradition.

The International Bluegrass Music Association, a pillar in the Bluegrass community, is equally enthusiastic about this venture. “Bluegrass Ridge Television reflects the dedication our industry leaders have to feature the diverse wealth of talent in the bluegrass community, and we are here to help support these efforts,” stated Anna Kline, Business Development Director at IBMA. “This collaboration illustrates the commitment we both share in making a place for fans, newcomers, and established artists alike.”

As this partnership unfolds, Bluegrass Ridge Television and the International Bluegrass Music Association invite fans, artists, and industry enthusiasts to tune in each week.  You can find where to watch the latest episodes at www.bluegrassridgetv.com.
