This list is provided as a helpful resource for current IBMA voting members (professional members) when completing their first-round ballot for the IBMA Bluegrass Music Awards. Professional-level members will receive the list in their first-round ballot email, but they are free to vote for any eligible entries, not just those included on the list.
Submissions are welcome for the following categories only:
- Album of the Year
- Song of the Year
- Gospel Recording of the Year
- Instrumental Recording of the Year
- Collaborative Recording of the Year
- Music Video of the Year
The list is created entirely from public submissions by artists, their teams, and record labels. We encourage these groups to coordinate their entries, and fans can help by sharing this opportunity with their favorite artists. Please note that the IBMA does not modify or influence this list, and it is not an official ballot.
Submission Guidelines:
– The awards eligibility period is April 1, 2025 – March 31, 2026. Songs must have been released OR shown significant chart action during this same period.
– The list appears exactly as submitted; the IBMA does not add, remove, or alter entries. Duplicate submissions will be reduced to a single entry.
– Up to three (3) singles per album may be submitted. Any additional singles will be removed.
– Provide as much information as possible in your submission. You will receive a confirmation email after submitting the form. The IBMA will not edit any submissions to the For Your Consideration list.
