NEW IBMA BOARD MEMBERS, OFFICERS AND EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEMBERS ELECTED

The International Bluegrass Music Association is pleased to announce the election of new members to its Board of Directors, as well as the election of board officers.

The IBMA is happy to welcome former IBMA Board Chair Mike Simpson back to the IBMA Board of Directors, as well as welcome Annie Savage and CJ Lewandowski to the board!

The following board members were elected to these positions:

Learning from men 50 years his senior, he developed a passion and love for traditional bluegrass in its rawest forms. CJ has traveled and played with The Warrior River Boys, Karl Shiflett, and James King, and is celebrating 10 years as founder/mandolinist for The Po’ Ramblin’ Boys. He is a graduate of the 2017 IBMA Leadrship Bluegrass and 2018 IBMA Emerging Artist of the Year. He is the founder and Executive Director of The Missouri Bluegrass Preservation Association. The GRAMMY nominee is on Smithsonian Folkways Recordings and Turnberry Records. He is an avid collector of Bluegrass memorabilia and records. Alongside his friend and mentor, Bobby Osborne, he is featured in the 2024 Country Music Hall of Fame American Currents: State of the Music exhibit. CJ makes his home in East Tennessee.
