IBMA International Band Grant Program
2024 applications now closed
The program is open to all non-U.S. bluegrass acts who wish to participate in IBMA World of Bluegrass® (September 24-28, 2024 in Raleigh, NC). Led by the generous matching donation of Paul and Alys Schiminger, the IBMA International Band Performance Grant Program will provide financial assistance to bands traveling to IBMA World of Bluegrass and help to establish a 2025 follow-up tour in the United States. Additionally, IBMA will be creating more performance opportunities for international bands at IBMA World of Bluegrass®. Most recently, this included a stage in the new International Pavilion at IBMA World of Bluegrass® 2023.
IBMA seeks to raise matching funds up to $50,000 to award to future recipients of the grant. To learn more, read our press release or Paul’s letter.
