The hottest acts shaping bluegrass music today will be performing as part of this innovative showcase series at IBMA’s World of Bluegrass 2019 in Raleigh, NC.

Nashville, TN — The International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) has released the full schedule and list of performances for this year’s Bluegrass Ramble, an innovative showcase series taking place over three days, Sept 24-26, in clubs in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina. Ramble venues include the Architect Bar & Social House, Kings, Lincoln Theater, Pour House, Vintage Church and the Raleigh Convention Center (two stages).
The Bluegrass Ramble includes the World of Bluegrass Kick Off Party, this year featuring multiple IBMA award winner and GRAMMY nominee, Special Consensus. The Kick Off Party takes place at the Lincoln Theater on Tuesday Sept 24 at 6pm, following the IBMA Business Conference Keynote Address by Alison Brown.
The Bluegrass Ramble is part of IBMA’s World of Bluegrass, whose Principal Sponsor is Chiesi USA; World of Bluegrass is a five-day bluegrass music homecoming and convention, taking place Sept. 24-28, 2019, in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau reported that last year’s World of Bluegrass events generated $12.7 million in direct visitor spending for that region, with total attendance for the week’s activities estimated to be a record-breaking 223,000 people.
